We Gonna Party Like It's Yo Birfday.

It's been an eventful weekend. Friday, September 29, was our 5th Anniversary.

We celebrated in style by hitting Belterra Casino Resort & Spa.

We spent the weekend eating amazing food, sleeping, watching movies and enjoying the sights. Dave even got me a special spa pedicure for our anniversary. It was de-light-ful! I spent 50 whole minutes getting my feet rubbed, scrubbed and wrapped. They finished it off when some red polish. My feet were as soft as a baby's bum by the time she was finished.

Today, October 1st, is my birthday. I woke up this morning and opened my birthday cards. Then Dave surprised me by giving me this! I wasn't expecting it at all! I'm so excited to get it all hooked up. (He's downstairs playing with it right now)

So, after leaving our little resort in the middle of nowhere,

we headed home for a nice, quiet afternoon. I decided I wanted to do my favorite things today, so I requested a walk with Dave and Lucy. After our walk, I ran to the grocery store to get the essentials: chocolate chips, sugar, vanilla...Baking is something else I love to do. While I waited on the cookies to bake, I gave myself a birthday treat:

Yumma-Yum:

The best part about my birthday? It's the beginning of fall! My favorite time of year!!

Happy birthday (a day late)! Looks like it was an amazing weekend. I'm glad - You deserve as many stress-free moments as you can squeeze in on the weekends!

First of all, you look beautiful in that picture!

That was the most inticing blog entry ever. You pretty much did almost all my favorite things and showed pictures of them. Spas, cookies, batter, walks with the fam, movies, food, and all of it in the fall. I'm officially jealous. Happy anniversary and happy birthday!
