Today is Dave's birthday. (It is also his dad's birthday. Happy Birthday Papa Phil!) I've always thought it was so neat that he shares a birthday with his dad. Dave talked to him this morning over the phone and then we headed to Mimi's Cafe for birthday breakfast with Mimsies and hubby. It was a nice morning. He's headed to a hockey game tonight with the boys. Mimsies and I will be having a girlie night of a chick flick and dinner. More to come on the 10 year reunion. Dave was a trooper! He deserves a medal for surviving the weekend!

Hi David and Sarah,
Enjoyed reading the special birthday account. Trust you had a good day David! Your birthday brings along a host of wonderful memories including the fact that mom called me while I was getting ready to coach a football game and said she was going to the hospital - I said "how come?" With that she said "you know!" Well...it took a few minutes to realize she was referring to your early arrival - one month early!
So I went and coached the game and sped home to the hospital to be with mom and you - you hadn't arrived yet - You came the following day - much to our delight! Glad you got to spend your day with good friends - we had a turkey dinner last night at the home of a family form the chapel - the meeting as Jared would come to know it! They have a new home just down the turnpike - and a plama TV so we watched a bit of the World Series on Fox HD - very nice!

Happy belated birthday Dave. It was so good to get to spend time with you guys at the reunion and at your parents house, Sara. We had such a good time getting to know you guys. Sounds like you got a good thing going!!! Lets keep in touch. ~~Alicia
